Beauty Near Bugis MRT: Salons, Malls and What to Book (2026)

Beauty Near Bugis MRT: Salons, Malls and What to Book (2026)

Bugis MRT is one of the densest beauty stops in Singapore, with affordable nails and lashes, facials, and serious hair colour all within a few minutes’ walk. Seven malls sit around the station, New Bugis Street has a whole floor of nail and lash salons, and Kampong Glam next door is full of trendy hair studios. Expect gel manicures from about $30 and facials from about $40.

Bugis is a stop on both the East-West Line (EW12) and the Downtown Line (DT14), so it’s quick to reach from town, the east and the Downtown Line corridor. The trick is knowing which direction to walk, because each building has its own speciality.

Here’s what’s around the station, what it’s good for, what things cost, and 10 salons worth booking.

What’s Around Bugis MRT

Bugis mixes a young, student and tourist crowd with office workers from the Beach Road and Victoria Street towers, so the beauty scene runs from budget nail sets to premium colour specialists.

  • Bugis Junction. Connected to the station, with a heritage shophouse wing. Nail spas, facials and TCM-style spas, hair, brows and waxing.
  • Bugis+. The youth-oriented mall across Victoria Street, also connected to the MRT. Strong on hair, including organic and perm specialists, plus head spas and Korean express facials.
  • Bugis Cube. A youth-focused beauty cluster opposite Bugis Junction: Korean-style hair, trend nails, lashes, head spas and acne facials. We’ve covered it in depth in our Bugis Cube guide and our round-up of facials at Bugis Cube.
  • Duo Galleria. A premium office and retail podium on Fraser Street, connected to the MRT. Facial and body spas and hair salons for the office crowd.
  • City Gate. On Beach Road at the edge of Kampong Glam, with a strong indie cluster of nail studios, aesthetics and massage.
  • Fortune Centre and Golden Landmark. Two older buildings with hidden gems: budget nail salons at Fortune Centre, and a men’s grooming and barber cluster at Golden Landmark.

On the street, the Bugis area is famous for the third floor of New Bugis Street, packed with affordable nail and lash salons. Just east, Kampong Glam (Haji Lane, Arab Street and North Bridge Road) is where you’ll find trendy and Japanese-style hair salons, private Muslimah-friendly ladies’ hair spas and scalp specialists.
